Been incredibly busy lately... don't know if I can keep doing this blogger thing.
I hardly have time for my Xanga. i'm currently trying to convert.
Anyway, been working like crazy latley, here's some work I just finished:
(click for full detail)
Tops my flyer from last year anyway. I'll post more work when I get done w/ it.
Other work related to news, I do plan to have christopherjasonchan.com and honorroller.com up and running soon. it's been way too long and i really need to get my ass in gear.
Shout out to So Much Silence, who just posted a mix Z-Trip did on Power 106. It's pretty ill, but man, I am hating this section of the mix (about 25 mins in, there's a mashup w/ that E-40 song that never stops playing on the radio aka: the Nor Cal anthem).
Living in Southern California for the past 5 years now, althought I spent my high school years in the Bay Area, I cannot for the life of me get into this song (with the exception of the Game remix, not that i like the Game, but the line "i ghostride your bitch" is hilarious). It litterally gives me a headache. even when i was 15 years old, E-40's voice was just as annoying as is today. Same w/ Charli 2na (who voice is mixed in right after). I have a problem with dudes who sound like fat asses and have really 'clean' voices. I don't get J5, whenever Rock the Bells throws some shit they are always on it. Same w/any big show at a University, it's always them! For some reason I can't stand these rap groups that are such college whores. IE: Black Eyed Peas, the Pharcyde, Ugly Duckling, etc.
Bigge and Pun were big guys too, but the got that rugged sound. I also can't stand the standard J5 minute long 5 voiced choruses.
I think it's true what they say about nutrition. I just ate a hungry man for dinner and man i feel like crap.

System of the Wu Tang Clan
System of a Down + Wu Tang Clan
According to theprp.com:
The rumors of a Shavo Odadjian and RZA collabo seems more likely than ever:
Bring Odadjian Ruckus
(5:38 PM PST 08/17/2006)
System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian will be playing bass for the Wu-Tang Clan on three live dates later this week, here's where you can catch him with the group:
August 18th New York City, NY - Webster Hall
August 19th Philadelphia, PA - Penn's Landing
August 20th Winston Salem, SC - Corpening Plaza
According to the official press release, Odadjian will be playing bass on all of the bands song for their entire set each night. Furthermore, Odadjian has indeed been in the studio collaborating with Wu-Tang head RZA for over the past year as well working on brand new material.
I guess the Wu has finally realized and embraced their predominately white (or non-black) audience.
First Steve-O*, now Shavo.
It seems to me, that in the world of music, these cross genre(more specifically hard rock and rap) collaborations sound like really great ideas but in actuality more often miss than hit.
ie:
Trent Reznor & Dr. Dre - "Even Deeper"
(Dr. Dre mixed the song off the album "The Fragile")
Daryl Palumbo & Dan the Automator - Head Automatica "Decadence" (full length album)
(producer on the entire record except on the only two singles "Beating Hearts Baby" and "The Razor")
Zach de la Rocha & DJ Shadow - "Burn Hollywood"
(not sure if this was ever an official release, as it doesn't seem likely his album will ever drop)
Deftones & Handsome Boy Modeling School - " "
(the beat is wack over Chino's voice)
Korn & Ice Cube - "Children of the Korn", "Fuck Dying"
Korn & Nas - "Play Me "
Korn & Fat Lip (of the Pharcyde) - "Cameltosis"
Korn & Dem Franchize Boyz - "Coming Undone Wit It"
(please just stop... the forumla doesn't work)
coming soon:
Trent Reznor & Saul Williams

Quickly after preforming "Brooklyn Zoo", Raekwon had Steve-O in a headlock demanding that he apologize for 'doing some gay shit'.
