Shout out to So Much Silence, who just posted a mix Z-Trip did on Power 106. It's pretty ill, but man, I am hating this section of the mix (about 25 mins in, there's a mashup w/ that E-40 song that never stops playing on the radio aka: the Nor Cal anthem).
Living in Southern California for the past 5 years now, althought I spent my high school years in the Bay Area, I cannot for the life of me get into this song (with the exception of the Game remix, not that i like the Game, but the line "i ghostride your bitch" is hilarious). It litterally gives me a headache. even when i was 15 years old, E-40's voice was just as annoying as is today. Same w/ Charli 2na (who voice is mixed in right after). I have a problem with dudes who sound like fat asses and have really 'clean' voices. I don't get J5, whenever Rock the Bells throws some shit they are always on it. Same w/any big show at a University, it's always them! For some reason I can't stand these rap groups that are such college whores. IE: Black Eyed Peas, the Pharcyde, Ugly Duckling, etc.
Bigge and Pun were big guys too, but the got that rugged sound. I also can't stand the standard J5 minute long 5 voiced choruses.
I think it's true what they say about nutrition. I just ate a hungry man for dinner and man i feel like crap.
